The picture that I have posted here is of myself, my father (Dwight Wood) and my son Bobby. All three of us graduated from Dee-Mack. I decided to create this site as a way to remember and also get to know a few things about the alumni of both Mackinaw and Deer Creek-Mackinaw High Schools that have since passed but through this hopefully not forgotten. My father (Dwight Wood) was in the last class to graduate from Mackinaw High School in 1948. In 1949 the school consolidated with Deer Creek. My father, sons Robert II and Alexander and myself are all alumni and proud to be so. In order that we not forget I have with the help of others have compiled as many obituaries of alumni as possible so that we can look back with friendship and honor their lives by their remembrance.
